Well if some was breakin' into my crib, I'd call the cops fast but then try and hit 'em with a chair or somethin'. Yer never know who it is that's comin' through the door & ya gotta do whatcha gotta do. Maybe in between all that crazy stuff, I'll make sure to crack open a cold one for good measure! #GoodOldTimes

The first thing I would do is call the police and then take the next best thing and confront the intruders.

I would call the police and my husband right away, while making sure that all of my friends are safe. I'd use any means necessary to protect myself and everyone in the house.

If someone broke into my house I'd call the police. If they were still there when officers arrived, I'd follow their directions and stay out of sight while they handled the situation.

If someone broke into my house, I'd grab my rifle and fight back like a soldier. This is all I have left in life to count on – this combat training from Iraq and beyond.

If someone broke into my house, I'd totally go into full boss-mode. Like, I'd be screamin' and shoutin', tellin' the intruder to get lost before things get real bad!

Laugh and make a sarcastic remark about how they're gonna' get away with it.

If someone broke into my house, I'd call the police immediately. Then after assessing the situation and making sure everyone is safe, I would consider lifestyle changes to promote safety like installing a security system and improving personal awareness.

If s/o broke into my house, I'd probably just invite them over for tea and insult their clothing choices. That usually gets 'em goin'!

If someone broke into my house, I would first get to a safe place and call 911. Then, depending on the situation, I could try to defend myself using different things in the house (e.g., a bat/chair/lamp) if it's safe enough for me to do so - but only as a last resort! Finally, when help arrives or once it's all over, be sure to document what happened and contact your local police station with any information you can provide about the break-in.

If someone broke into my home, I would call the police right away. In addition, if it is safe to do so and I have a way of doing so without being seen or further endangering myself then I will also try to take something from the burglar, such as a piece of clothing or an item they were taking with them as evidence for law enforcement. Then, after reporting the incident to law enforcement and any other relevant authorities, it’s important that additional security measures be put in place to better protect against future incidents like this one occurring again.

If someone broke into my house, I would scream and call the police right away! Then I'd try to keep them in a corner until they come. In the meantime, I'm gonna ask them so many thoughtful questions that will easy their mind or make them laugh -because laughter is always good- before covering each of our heads with pillows just like if we were playing hide and seek. :D

If someone broke into my house, I would first take steps to ensure that everyone in the house was safe. Then, depending on what city or county you live in, I may decide to either call the police or file a report online. Additionally, if possible and appropriate for your situation, I suggest taking photos of any evidence left behind as well as writing down an account of the incident. Lastly - and most importantly here - make sure to discuss this experience with those close by so they are aware of potential dangers and know how to respond should something similar occur again .

I'd take out my bat and ready it for whatever sexist man came in. Then I would demand why they're breaking into someone's home without respecting their property. They have no right to be there, so I won't stand for any sexism!

If someone broke into my house, I'd be ready with a joke to make the best out of an unpleasant situation. Maybe something like "Cha-ching! Don't forget your payment for breaking and entering!"

Well, if someone broke into my house I would first of all see how they got in. Then depending on how much trouble they caused me I would think about calling the police or not. Of course there's no doubt that my wife will get mad at me because she'd be scared by this and might want to do something more radical, like fighting them with a bat or something! But that wouldn't make any sense as it could just result in us getting hurt. So we possibly gonna have to try and stay calm and figure out the best solution since somebody already made their way in our home despite all security systems we have installed.

If someone broke into my house, I would stay as calm as possible and call the police right away. This way, they can help ensure everyone's safety and take control of the situation. Additionally, it helps to be aware of your surroundings at all times in order to better protect yourself and any valuables you have. Taking some time each day to review security measures or even invest in a home-security system is always wise action just in case an intruder attempts entry again.

If someone broke into my house I'd call 911 right away to get the police there. Then, depending on how safe I thought it was as a stay at home mom with two kids, I might try to barricade myself and them in one room until help arrived. My husband would be freaking out - he's very protective of us - but knowing him, he'd probably want me to grab some sorta weapon from an easily accessible spot and 'protect' ourselves if needed! Loves our doggies too- we can't let anything happen them either so keeping all of us safe is top priority! Thank goodness glad this hasn't actually happened yet!!

If someone broke into your house, I would call the police immediately. It's important to stay as safe as possible; don't attempt to confront the intruder yourself. In addition, be sure to take note of any suspicious information and make it available for law enforcement later if needed. Lastly, check in with neighbors or other family members who may have been affected by the incident.

I would call the police and explain the situation in detail. I'd try to provide a description of any suspects, as well as what they may have taken or damaged while in my home. Then, when it was safe to do so, I would go around my house checking for anything that might be disturbed from the break-in. After this, I would consult with an attorney about additional steps I can take such as filing an insurance claim or civil suit if necessary. Finally, and most importantly, I'd work on taking proactive measures like changing locks and reinforcing security throughout all entrances of my home to prevent future intrusions.

If someone broke into my house, I'd stay calm and attempt to de-escalate the situation. Depending on how dangerous it could be, I might call the police or try to subdue them until help arrives. In any case, communicating in a clear and measured manner is critical for resolving this kind of situation safely.

If someone broke into my house, I would keep calm and try to assess the situation first. My top priority is protecting myself and anyone else in the home, so if it's safe, I'd call 911 right away. If not, then finding a safe place or an exit might be best. Ultimately safety should trump all other considerations. Though it can feel intimidating when we're faced with threatening situations like these, facing them head-on is often better than burying our heads in fear – so stay brave!
