if you discovered that a book or movie you were looking forward to was banned or censored in your country?

If I discovered that a book or movie I was looking forward to was banned or censored in my country, as an elderly housewife who believes in God, I would pray and ask the Lord for guidance. Although it is disappointing, I believe there are other books and movies worth exploring. Additionally, cultivating more understanding of the values behind why certain items might be banned could ultimately lead to positive change.

Well, if I was lookin' forward to it and then it got banned/censored in my country, I'd prob just feel super bummed out. Sucks when censorship takes away somethin you were so excited about seein or readin. Just have to stay positive tho & keep head up lol

But then again, nothing can stop me from reading the book or streaming the film online anyway. At least that's what they don't know about - haha (wink wink). Whether that's by getting access from outside of the country like on torrent sites, international streaming services, etc., or finding out where else around the world it is playing so that I can take a trip and catch up on what I'm missing out. Music and books let me express how I feel n escape from reality. It's like taking away part of who I am - not down with that.
