I'd take a big stick, stay back and get it out of my way. That snake is trying to survive in its natural environment too, but won't be if we don't protect its habitats from being destroyed by the patriarchy!

"Oh, you mean if I encountered a pit viper in the wild? Well, first of all, check him for selfie worthy backdrops. 'Cause you know- Instagram flexin'! Plus would be good to make sure no one else is running into it before ya just hop on over and strike up a convo with Mr Slithery."

Run away as fast as I can - life's too short for this crap.

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, I'd take all possible precautions to not provoke it. First and foremost, stay still - even if that means standing until sundown so as not to attract unnecessary attention. Secondly, slowly move away from the direction of the snake- keeping your eyes on it at all times. If free movement is absolutely necessary then step back carefully and do your best to keep a safe distance between you two in case of any unexpected movements or reactions by either side. Make sure no sudden sharp sound near its habitat which may end up scaring them away into striking out defensively. Also remember that snakes are an important part of our ecology; so do use common sense before deciding each action

If I encountered a venomous snake, I'd be like "Sh*t no way!", keep my distance and probably take out my phone to get help cause there's NO WAY I'm dealing with that on my own!

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, I'd grab my cowboy hat and whip out some lasso skills to keep it away from me! Then maybe we can have a tame dance-off with us both shaking our rattles. Who knows - might be more fun than terrifying!

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, I'd probly try to back away as calmly and quickly as possible. But if my boys were there, theysk now better - it's motorcycle or muscle car time! Ha ha ha!

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, I'd use my training and research to identify it. Then, making sure to stay at least 6 feet away from the snake (double if possible) I would carefully move out of its path. If an exit route isn't available or safe for everyone involved, staying still may be necessary until help arrives. To reduce stress both on me and the animal, speaking calmly but assertively will let the snake know that it's not being threatened. In any case, contacting local wildlife authorities is advised since they can provide further guidance on how best to handle such a situation safely and humanely.

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, my first thought would be to stay calm and back away slowly so as not to startle it. After making sure that I have left enough space between us, I'd take the opportunity to observe its habits – such like what type of environment it likes best (and why!) and how & where they hide when threatened. If nothing else, it's an awesome adventure into discovering something new about animals! And if anyone has any questions for me afterward, feel free to ask...I'll do my best to answer them with some insight (and humor) from my experience! ;)

If I saw a snake that looked venomous, I'd def leave it alone! The last thing I want is to get bit. Plus snakes can be fast, so even if you're tryna run away pretty sure it's gonna catch up with ya 😰

Kill it, I got no time for snakes... and you better not get too close either.

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, I'd tell it to take a hike! Or maybe just find me some jerky.

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, I'd slowly back up and try to move away from it. Then I'd call my husband to let him know what happened so he can be on alert for any danger if we cross paths with that type of snake again.

Woah, if I saw a venomous snake in the wild I'd probably freak out! My heart would start racing and my hands would get all sweaty. But then something inside me would take over--I'd grab a stick to try and catch it so girls at school will think I'm cool! Then maybe give it to my little sis as like...an "exotic pet" (evil laugh).

Oh goodness, if I encountered a venomous snake in the wild then Lord have mercy! First and foremost I'd be sure to pray for safety. After that, of course I would keep my distance from it, since I know those are dangerous creatures. Then depending on where it was located, perhaps calling animal control could be an option to safely remove it?

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, I'd stay calm and back away slowly. Then depending on where it is and how easy or difficult it would be to avoid contact with it, either call my husband or anyone close by if they are nearby for help. Maybe even get my dogs!

I'd calmly back away and find a safe area to observe from since approaching it would be dangerous. I'd watch the snake's behavior, make notes (or take pictures if possible!) on what type of snake it is. Then research afterwards so I can help educate others in my community about recognizing venomous snakes nearby and safety tips to keep them safe!

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, I would take a step back and assess the situation. Knowing how to identify venomous snakes is critical when outdoors and familiarizing yourself with the local species beforehand can help you know what to look for. Once recognized, try to move away from it slowly without cornering or agitating it further – as this will increase its chances of acting aggressively or attacking. If your safety feels compromised in any way, seek professional assistance immediately rather than trying to handle the exchange alone.

I'd look for a stick to fight it off, then I'd run away. Or just run!

If I encountered a venomous snake in the wild, I would take all necessary safety precautions. First, I'd slowly back away while giving it plenty of space and respect. Then if possible once at a safe distance, observe its characteristics to see what species it is so that you can properly avoid similar snakes in other areas. If not possible - remember where you saw the snake as far as landmarks or vegetation nearby so others are aware of potentially high-risk areas too!

If I saw a venomous snake in the wild, I'd probably freeze and nervously back away while trying to remember everything I've ever read about dealing with snakes. Then, once safely out of range, I'd do some research on what kind it was so that next time (because you KNOW there's always gonna be a next time!) I'll be prepared!
